First of all... thank you for being here. Whether you've travelled across the country, across the ocean or just down the road, it means the world to us that you're spending this day with us.

We've put together this page with everything we think you'll need to know so you can spend less time wondering where to park or where the bar moved, and more time celebrating with us.

Now let's get married. 🤍

As this is a private residence, there is no designated parking lot. The good news is that there is plenty of parking available, as shown on the map below.

Please do not park:

In front of the house on Langtry Road

On the lower half of Blythe Road

We'd like to keep these areas clear for photos, guest access, and vendor parking.

You may park:

Anywhere along Langtry Road

On the upper half of Blythe Road, as indicated on the map

At the end of Blythe Road where it transitions into a gravel road/grass patch.

Please note that the gravel/grass patch parking area is quite uneven and bumpy. We recommend this area for trucks and SUVs rather than low-clearance vehicles like cars.

Overnight parking is absolutely fine! We've arranged a designated Driver, details furthur below.

Camping

For guests who are camping, please head to:

2952 Doupe Road

There will be signs directing you where to park and set up camp.

A friendly reminder that this is a simple field campsite with no hookups, power, water, or facilities, so please come prepared.

As shown on the map, you can walk across Doupe Road and follow the marked pathway to the wedding site. There will be signage along the route, and the path will be clearly marked.

We've created yet another little map ( surprise surprise) to show everyone where all important things will be!

Although the wedding address is 4975 Langtry road, we ask that you please access the property via the gate entrance on Blythe road, as indicated by the map.

The Ceremony will be held at the bottom area of the property, right near the field, along with the reception. Cocktail hour and lawn games will be happening right at the back of the house, as indicated by the labels on the map.

Washrooms

We'll have a luxury bathroom trailer located in front of the shop, near the house and cocktail hour area. Yes, they're flushing toilets. Yes, there's running water. And yes, there's a little basket in each for the little things you may need through the night.

Smoking

A designated smoking area will be located just outside the main gate, complete with a bucket of water and sand for cigarette disposal.

Please do not smoke anywhere else on the property. This is our family home, and it's been cared for with a lot of love over the years. We'd really appreciate your help keeping it beautiful.

The BAR

Now for the important part...

We'll have a few different drink stations throughout the day to keep everyone happily hydrated.

Before the ceremony

Help yourself to beer, spritzers, bubbly, water, and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks while everyone arrives.

During cocktail hour

The main bar will be located beside the house, marked by the pink martini glass on the map.

During dinner & dancing

Once it's time to party, the bar will move down to the reception area so you won't have to wander too far in search of your next drink.

Listen, we love you, we want to celebrate with you, and we also want you to get home safe. Please enjoy yourself, drink responsibly, and please do not drink and drive.

If you've driven to the wedding and decide you'd rather not drive home, we've got you covered! We've hired a designated driver for the evening. Since Uber doesn't exist in Duncan and taxis can be a bit of a gamble, Hannah will be available from 8:00 pm to midnight to drive you home, back to your hotel, or to your Airbnb.

Her time has already been covered, so there's no cost to you. ❤️

We'll also have Hannah's contact information posted at the bar throughout the evening.

There's absolutely no problem leaving your vehicle overnight. We'd much rather you pick up your car tomorrow than risk driving home.

If you'd like, there will be a tip jar for our wonderful bartenders and a honeymoon fund if you're feeling extra generous. Absolutely no expectations—your presence is the gift, but we certainly won't stop you. 🤍

Bringing little ones?

We won't have high chairs or booster seats available, so if your little one needs one, we recommend bringing a travel seat along.

A quick favour...

Our wedding is taking place at our family home, and this property has been loved and cared for for many years. We simply ask that you treat it with the same care and respect you would your own home.

Most importantly...

Put your phone away during the ceremony, grab another drink, eat too much cake, dance like nobody's watching, and make some wonderful memories with us. We truly can't wait to celebrate with all of you.
